This policy forms part of the BriBooks Terms & Conditions.

1. Introduction

Youbooks Edtech Pte Ltd (“The Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates BriBooks — a book writing, publishing, and sales platform for children aged 8 and above — accessible at https://www.bribooks.com/ (the “Portal”).

This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) forms part of, and must be read together with, the BriBooks Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms, the Terms shall prevail.

All purchases and account registrations on the Portal must be made by an adult aged 18 or over (a Registered School, teacher, administrator, or Parent/Guardian). By placing an order, you confirm your agreement to this Policy.

3. Order Policy — General Rule

GENERAL RULE: All book orders placed by users are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-cancellable due to the print-on-demand nature of the books.

This applies to all product types unless a specific exception listed below applies.

BriBooks operates on a print-on-demand model. This means each book is printed individually upon order. Accordingly, once an order is placed, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled, returned, or refunded.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 No Refunds for Digital Products

ABSOLUTE RULE: NO REFUND IS APPLICABLE FOR EBOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This rule applies without exception, regardless of the circumstances of purchase or the identity of the purchaser.

4.2 Refund Exceptions — Printed Books Only

Exceptions to the no-refund rule apply only to printed books. A 100% refund will be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The user’s access to the Portal is deactivated without prior notice.
  • The Portal is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours without any planned communication from BriBooks.
  • BriBooks is unable to deliver the printed version (hard copy or soft copy) of the ordered book within 60 days of the book’s completion and publication on the Portal.
  • BriBooks decides to cancel the book order.

4.3 Refund Amount and Timeline

Refund Amount: 100% of the amount paid for the qualifying order.

Refund Timeline: Issued within 7 business days of the occurrence of the qualifying event.

How to Claim: Write to support@bribooks.com stating your order ID and the qualifying reason.

4.4 Refunds for Subscriptions

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, if a user’s access to the Portal is deactivated without prior notice, a pro-rated refund for any unused subscription period may be claimed by writing to support@bribooks.com.

5. Return Policy

5.1 No Returns for Digital Products

ABSOLUTE RULE: NO RETURN IS APPLICABLE FOR EBOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This rule applies without exception, regardless of the circumstances of purchase or the identity of the purchaser.

5.2 Return Exceptions — Printed Books Only

Returns are accepted only for printed books in the following circumstances:

  • The delivered printed copy is damaged upon receipt.
  • The delivered printed content does not match the published version ordered by the user (e.g., wrong book, incorrect content).

5.3 How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, the user must:

  • Write to support@bribooks.com with the subject line “Book Return Request”.
  • Include the order ID generated at the time of purchase.
  • Describe the reason for return (damaged copy or content mismatch).
  • Where applicable, attach photographic evidence of the damage or mismatch.

Return Processing Time: Up to 15 working days from receipt of the return request.

BriBooks will confirm the next steps (collection or destruction of the returned copy) via email.

6. Order Cancellations

Once an order has been placed and payment confirmed, it cannot be cancelled by the user. BriBooks reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion. Where BriBooks cancels an order, a 100% refund will be issued within 7 business days in accordance with Section 4.3 of this Policy.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. BriBooks is not responsible for any delays caused by the user’s bank or payment provider. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact support@bribooks.com to arrange an alternative.

8. Relationship to Terms & Conditions

This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the BriBooks Terms & Conditions, available at https://www.bribooks.com/terms. A summary of this Policy is also included in Section 7 of the Terms. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms, the Terms shall prevail.

The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Changes will be notified in accordance with the amendment procedures set out in the Terms.

9. User Registration Note

Authors (“Users”) can register on the Portal through their guardians or parents who must be at least 18 years old. The Company reserves the right to disallow a book or deactivate a user account at its discretion. The Company also reserves the right to cancel any book order received.
